The Colors Of Disney
Design research and typography
This Project is a catalog and a website for a made up exhibition featuring scenes from Disney animated movies through colors. The purpose is to look at the scene as individuals and study the way colors are used in them, visually and emotionally. The catalog contains 6 different booklets, each one for a certain color and one for the text exploring the psychology in the Disney movies and characters.
The Website
In this project, the typography and design were meant first of all for the printed catalog and only after for the website. The website's design is based and match the printed part of the project, but adapted for the screen.
Color Palette
The color palette is based on the color palettes that stand out most in Disney's classical animated movies.
About The Research
I used this project as an opportunity to research the way colors are used in animation movies, the versatile ways the color Disney uses throughout the years is truly fascinating and inspiring!
